Questions we get asked

Timelines, ownership, pricing, maintenance and AI — answered as plainly as we can. If yours is not here, ask us directly.

Projects

A straightforward business site is typically three to six weeks from confirmation, assuming content is ready. Custom applications run longer — usually eight weeks and up depending on scope.

The most common cause of delay is not development. It is waiting for content: photos, staff details, product information and approvals. Projects where content is prepared in parallel with design finish noticeably sooner.

Yes. On full settlement, ownership of the delivered work transfers to you, along with source files. Our own reusable libraries stay ours, with a perpetual licence for you to use them as part of your system. We do not hold your data, domain or hosting content hostage in a dispute.

Support

Usually, yes. We start with a short audit of what exists — platform version, security state, hosting, and whether the code is maintainable. Sometimes the honest answer is that rebuilding costs less than untangling. We tell you which situation you are in before you commit budget.

Platform and component updates, backups taken and test-restored, uptime and SSL monitoring, malware scanning, a monthly report, agreed response times for urgent issues, and a pool of hours for small content changes. The scope is set out in the plan you choose.

Either. We can arrange hosting sized to your traffic, or work with your existing provider. If you host with someone else we will tell you plainly if the environment is likely to cause problems. What matters most is that the domain and hosting accounts are registered in your name, not ours.

AI

It depends entirely on the task. High-volume repetitive work with checkable output — extracting data from documents, answering the same enquiries, drafting product copy — pays back quickly. Low-volume work with high consequences usually does not. We are happy to say when the answer is no.

A general-purpose model will. The assistants we build answer from your own documents and cite where an answer came from, and hand anything uncertain to a person with the conversation attached. That is the difference between a useful tool and a liability.

Commercial

On a fixed quotation against a written scope, so you know the figure before starting. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it begins rather than appearing on the final invoice. Ongoing services such as hosting and maintenance are billed for the period in advance.

Typically a deposit on confirmation, one or more progress payments at agreed milestones, and the balance on completion before go-live. The exact split is in your quotation. Small engagements may be billed in full on completion.

Working together

Yes. We are based in Puchong, Selangor and work with clients across Malaysia and beyond. Most collaboration happens over calls, email and shared previews. For larger projects we will meet in person at the start where it is practical.

The person who scopes your project is the person who works on it. There is no handover to an account manager who was not in the room. That is a deliberate consequence of staying small.

We will say so and, where we can, point you to someone who does. We have worked alongside other specialists for years and would rather refer a job than take one we cannot do well.

Still unsure?

Ask the question directly. We would rather answer it now than have you guess at what we do.
