An app is worth building when the phone contributes something a browser cannot: the camera, GPS, offline capture in a warehouse with no signal, or a push notification that has to arrive whether or not the person is looking.
If your idea does not need any of those, we will tell you so and build a responsive web app instead — it is faster to ship, costs less to maintain, and needs no app-store approval to fix a typo.
When an app is the right answer, we build one codebase for both platforms, wire it to the same backend as your web system, and take care of the store submission process, which is its own small bureaucracy.
